Our Pastor
REV. DARRELL CLARK

In 1978, our pastor and his wife began a five-year career as an evangelist holding revivals throughout the United States. Concurrently, Rev. Clark was a field representative for Accelerated Christian Education (ACE).

In 1983, he and his wife Peggy and their son Brannon, moved to Kingsport, Tennessee to assume the pastorate of the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. During this 10-year stay, Rev. Clark was also the founder and proprietor of a lucrative electrical contracting business.

In 1994, the Clark family moved to Edna, Texas to accept the pastorship of the First Pentecostal Church of Edna, due to the untimely passing of the founder and pastor of 41 years, Rev. M.C. Lee. Now, the First Pentecostal Church of Edna, under the leadership of  Rev. Clark, is continuing the Pentecostal Apostolic legacy and has become a vibrant and exciting example of true Pentecost in action.

With the addition of the Edna Christian Academy, a Christian school for grade levels K-12 that uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum, to the church's ministry, the church is true fulfillment of the the scripture "...continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine..." and "Train up a child in the way he should go..." Rev. Clark received his M.A.I.S. degree in the Spring of 2003 at the University of Houston-Victoria with concentrations in history and education.

It is the sincere desire of Rev. Clark and the entire congregation of the First Pentecostal Church of Edna to extend to all a cordial invitation to visit any time during our services. Come and experience the exuberance of Pentecost.
